I requested to copy one of your poems and never received a reply to my request, why?

It can take up to 5 weeks for me to get back to you in regards to your request. However, please remember that not everyone who requests to copy a poem receives permission. If you really would like to copy one of my poems, be sure that the reason you give for requesting permission is very specific. In addition, be sure to fill out all the appropriate information or your request will not even be considered.

Can you write me a poem?

I am always truly flattered when a person wants me to write them a poem for a specific individual or for a specific event. However, I write poetry that is from my heart, therefore I would never be able to find the words to write a poem for others. I always suggest that others try writing the poem themselves. I write from my heart and I know others can do the same. Give it a try.. you might be surprised at how well you can express yourself with poetry. And remember this.. "As long as the poem you are writing is from your heart, the person who receives it will truly love it" :-)

How did you get started writing poems?

I have always had a love for poetry--the type that is written for greeting cards. Years ago I wrote a couple of poems here and there. However, a friend inspired me to write by encouraging me to express my feelings through words. I wanted to share my feelings and thoughts with others. Once I started sharing my poetry with others through my web site and received positive feedback, it inspired me to continue writing more. I write poetry not just to express my thoughts and feelings, but also to share and hopefully inspire others. Have I inspired you?? I certainly hope so. :-)

None of the graphics on my web site may be copied. The only graphics that may be used for personal web pages are the ones found on my free graphics page.

Where can I apply for a Friendship and Love web page award? Where can I view the web page awards that Friendship and Love has won?

I am no longer giving out web page awards due to time constraints. I also no longer apply for web site awards due to the same reason. In addition to time constraints, the other reason for doing away with awards on my site is due to the fact that individuals are constantly changing their URL's without notifying me. Because of this, I may have links on my site that are no longer valid. For me, there is nothing more annoying then clicking on a link to find out it is not valid and it takes you absolutely no where. Therefore, you can no longer apply for awards and the awards I have won are no longer on my site. By doing away with awards and having less links to outside pages, I will have less broken links. Thank you for your understanding.
