Featured Poet - Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to the Featured Poet - Rules, guidelines and submissions. The featured poet, as well as the web page created for the featured poet can be discontinued without notice. A featured poet will be chosen periodically at my discretion, but again can be discontinued at any time. Any, and all decisions are FINAL, and rules and guidelines are subject to change without notice
1. All poetry submitted MUST be your original work. Only original poetry should be submitted. DO NOT submit a poem and claim it as your own original work. If you do so, you may find yourself faced with a lawsuit from the author. The Friendship and Love website, as well as administraton, is not responsible for individuals who commit plagiarism. YOU are solely responsible for any acts of plagiarism. Administration will not become involved with disputes regarding who owns a particiular poem. However, administration reserves the right to reveal your identity in the event that a complaint or legal action arises. Please educate yourself on the copyright laws by visiting the following webpage http://www.loc.gov/copyright. In addition, do a search on the internet on copyright information. There is a vast amount of information readily available.
2. You must be over the age of 18.
3. You must agree to have your REAL name and valid email address posted with your poems.
4. Submit only 4 of your original poems.
5. The poems should contain a "Friendship and Love" theme, but other types of poems will be considered.
6. Poem must have a title.
7. Be sure and proofread your poem before you submit it. I will not take the time to edit your poem, that is your responsibility. Please be sure your poems do not contain typos, etc.
8. Once you submit your poems and you are chosen as "featured poet" and your poems are posted on the site, the page I create will only be removed at my discretion. In other words, do not email me and state that you no longer wish to have your poems posted on my site.
9, Absolutely no poems containing an adult theme will be considered. In addition, no poems containing hate, violence, vulgarity, or explicit lanugage will be considered.
10. You must be an active member of the Friendship and Love Poetry Forum. As well as an active member, you must be a member who follows the rules and guidelines set up for the forum. You can become a member by clicking here
If any of the above rules and guidelines are not followed, your submission will not be considered. All poetry submitted must be owned by the author and shall remain as such. By submitting your poetry, you are granting permission to Friendship and Love to post your poetry. All Poetry should not be copied without prior written consent from the author. Friendship and Love reserves the right to choose the "featured poet" and may remove poetry and/or page for any reason without notice to the author.
